Just a few [of the] references [from different websites] I’ve compiled for making more unique face/body shapes in my characters.

Of course, creative liberty is (and can be) taken on most of these shapes, but anyone who wishes to design a character should at least know that there are many shapes and sizes for characters to be and that can define them.

I encourage making each character, human or animal, unique and identifiable by their silhouettes and profiles when they’re bald and unclothed.

Some building block references my Life Drawing teacher drew up for us for our Figure Drawing class. Thought I would impart the wisdom.

Hmm, yes. Beautiful. *A*

6 Color Scheme Tools

COLORlovers
The biggest resource community for colour palettes as well as patterns. Plus points that they spell “colour”correctly my British way.
Kuler
From Adobe it pretty much works the same way as COLORlovers where you also create your own schemes or edit others accordingly.
Colorotate
This site is a little more interactive and fun with the 3D elements. In addition there are few fun mixing/blending options.
Color Scheme Designer
The Wheel! A great resource for creating schemes as well options for “light-er” or “dark-er” versions.
Pictaculous
There are a few picture-to-colours applications but this is my favourite as, in my opinion, its most accurate. In addition to finding you colours from an image you’ve uploaded, it suggests other similar colour schemes from Colourlovers and Kuler. You can also download swatch files which I find useful.
Color Palette Generator (DeGraeve.com)
If you’re lazy or don’t have the image on your computer, this site lets you use URL’s instead.

Textbooks are fucking expensive, and if your professor doesn’t require a physical copy (most don’t - they just want you to have the book at hand. Or maybe even not. Some professors literally give no fucks about whether you have the book or not) and you…

Apart from this I did one on creative writing in general and one on character crafting.

I’m also willing to answer questions about what it’s like to work with an editor and what kind of things will be asked of you.

<This should work when writing a plot for an example a comic.>

瞬間連写アクションポーズ―立ち回り・スタント・アクロバット [単行本]Real Action Pose Collection

A beautiful reference book. I bought mine from Kinokinuya when I was living in California.

They have published three books so far, the 2nd one is focusing on sword action and the third one has a female as the main fighter. I own the swords one and will be looking for the third book at SDCC.

eyecager:

瞬間連写アクションポーズ02 殺陣・ソードアクション篇 [単行本]  and 瞬間連写アクションポーズ03 ヒロイン・アクション篇 [単行本]  Real Action Pose Books.

The sword one is neat because they have a kimono on and kimono off version of each shot most of the time. And the third book looks really nice, I hope I can find it.

Bought these books in hopes one day I do an action comic mixing a storyboard/comic style for the action scenes. An example of this would be some panels Agasang did I still swoon over.

Also I wonder how many takes it took to get that cool scene down where he kicks the guys sword back in.
